Day 5 (Part 2)
The work day started at the WUSC office in Lilongwe where I went through an extensive review of my mandate as well as the current focus of WUSC programming in Malawi - HIV/AIDS. Following the session, the entire office staff went out for a "welcoming lunch" (next post) at the British Consulate which is across the street. Tomorrow I am off for a 2 hour drive north to St. Anne's Hospital in Nkhotakota near Lake Malawi. This will be followed by (Sunday) by a 4 hour drive to the south of the country to the Nglundi Hospital in Chirdazulu where I will stay for the duration.
